What better place to revive Finnish pastimes before televisions and Nintendos than at Go Arctic’s traditional games.

From old social games, we will play kyykkä, known from Karelian and Sámi cultures, the slightly newer Oulu version of puukkotikka, and tikkuraha played with old hilikut and killingit. Strength will also be tested in sailor wrestling and tug of war.

In between games, you’ll also hear some insights into the history of these activities.
