The word Koiteli comes from Sami language and means “in the middle” – here in Koiteli you get to enjoy fun outdoor activities in an island located in the middle of two rapids.
Beautiful surroundings, ancient trees and the silence give a feeling of being also in the center of yourself.
During the day you’ll get to test and learn some wilderness skills.
Enjoy a relaxing guided walk in the Koiteli area. You can carve wood and take part in a handicraft workshop, get to know reindeer and hear the fascinating stories of a local reindeer herder and in Tunnelmatupa hut you’ll learn to bake some traditional Finnish buns. Very delightful day with traditional Finnish tasks it is.
Program includes: Activities as described above, services of our English speaking guides, coffee/tea and sweet pastry.
OPTIONAL SERVICES:
Soup lunch: Salmon or mushroom or vegetable soup, bread, water and juice.
3 course dinner: Mushroom or vegetable soup, salmon cooked by open fire, baked potatoes and salad, lingonberry dream, bread, water and juice.
